Welcome to UNSW Pokémon Society! We are an active, volunteer run community with a love for all things Pokémon. Based at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, our team host frequent local and online events to provide the perfect opportunity for fellow fans to bond over and form lasting friendships! Despite being a University based club, our activities are open for anyone to participate in, no matter your background. We are a free to join society and would love to see you around!

CLUB HISTORY
2013 - 2017 | 2020 - PRESENT
Pokémon fans have walked this Earth since the ancient era of 1996, however it wasn't until 2013 when a party of friends at UNSW stumbled across the fantastic idea of starting a society to celebrate the franchise. For five years, the club brought all sorts of fans and good times together until the latter end of 2017 where interest in the franchise was seemingly lost at UNSW, spelling the end of the society. Talk about bad taste.
Devoid of a Pokémon community, the UNSW campus felt like a Desolate Land with a future of imperishable darkness (according to some fans anyway). This famine of the franchise lasted for three intolerable years, until 2020 that is, when a star among students shone through the shadow and revived the all but doomed Pokémon Society. Hoorah! Ever since that destined day, the club has been rebuilt from the ground up having quite literally evolved from its former glory. Today, the UNSW Pokémon Society is bigger and more active than ever with hundreds of passionate members and a team overflowing with exceptional talent.
